A high performance electromagnetic shielding material was prepared by introducing highly conductive manganese ions into Ti3C2Tx. The cationic intercalation mechanism of Ti3C2Tx is discussed. The manganese ions tend to bond with the oxygen-containing ends of the interface, and combine with the orbital hybridization of Mn 3d and O 2p. Cationic intercalation can enlarge the interlayer spacing and improve the conductivity of Ti3C2Tx. After the introduction of highly conductive manganese ions in Ti3C2Tx, the prepared MSCs showed excellent energy storage capacity and outstanding electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency
